"We bid farewell to these our companions and friends departed this life..."

Since 1856, the Saint Andrew's Society of the State of New York has maintained a large plot at Cypress Hills Cemetery on the border of Brooklyn and Queens.

Sacred to the Memory of natives of Scotland, the Society provides a final resting place for those members in need and those Scots in New York unable to provide a burial plot for their loved ones. A commemorative obelisk monument was erected in 1888 and still stands today.

The plots are for the use of members and others of Scottish descent.

For more information on this matter, please contact the Society offices.

Saint Andrew's Society is a registered 501(c)3 not for profit organization.
